"Something needs to be done so that this gym on Route 17 in Paramus can finally change. It takes them forever to fix anything. The basketball court always has its lights flickering, and if one day it doesn't work it will probably stay that way for several weeks. The lack of commitment that must be had to leave a gym where so many people go paying for a membership, and yet nothing is clean, tidy, or at least working. They have even started giving a good rating to the gym, giving a free month as a reward, nobody in their right mind should be doing that, but most of the ratings are 5 stars, it doesn't deserve them."

"Very dirty gym. Equipment is dirty and very dusty. Haven’t been vacuumed and mopped in years. Sauna is disgusting, hasn’t been washed and sanitized for so long. This place is a fungus-virus-bacteria bomb ready to explode and get hundreds sick and hospitalized"

"The lack of cleanliness in this place is outrageous. I’ve been coming here for two years now and have seen it go downhill. To start, I always think it’s sketchy how there’s new rotating staff every 6 months or so, meaning that this gym’s/company’s retention rate is not all that well. The management is really not the best, as barely any rules are enforced. I feel like some, *NOT ALL* of the cleaning staff are simply not performing to the best of their ability. I’ve seen some just hanging out, especially in the locker rooms. They are somehow present, but never actually changing anything in the gym. The same smudge that was there in the locker room a week ago, is still the next week when I go back. The floors are in need of serious mopping, and nevermind the shower and the shower curtains there. I feel like there is no attention to detail whatsoever and every time I go in, management and all the staff just look stagnant being there. The true reason why I haven’t cancelled my membership yet is due to the cycle classes, which are a killer, but truly amazing thanks to a few amazing instructors teaching there. If it wasn’t for them, then I still wouldn’t be coming here."

"This place has gone down hill so badly in the past year. It's really a shame. This gym is consistently so messy with weights left all over the place and dumbbells never in their rack or in the right place, and scattered across the gym floor. Good luck finding a matching pair of dumbbells. Sometimes there are more dumbbells scattered across the gym than there are in the racks! Management won't clean it up nor require members to re-rack their weights. Even when you tell the managers the place is a mess they're like "what do you want me to do?" How about your job! All the people coming from other towns have ruined this gym. Used to be a nicer place and friendlier people, the basketball courts also attract a lot of disrespectful p*nks and out of towners who don't know/care about gym etiquette. You would not guess this gym is in Bergen county if you walked inside. Also, people always talking loudly on their phones (and usually not in English) and playing music on their speakerphones, and management does nothing about it. Terrible. These pics were all taken early in the morning on various Saturdays and Sundays, around 8-9am, so obviously management does not straighten up before they close the night before, or when they open up in the morning. Weeknights after work are even worse. It is embarrassing and very unpleasant workout experience."

"Great equipment. Clean gym. Nice atmosphere. My only issue as a 5am person working out. The night people don't restack their weights and i assume there is no policy for night staff to do a bit of housekeeping before closing. Weights are everywhere on the floor. You have to sift thru to find what you need."
