Welcome to the Catholic Community of St. John the Evangelist, St. Mary Magdalen, St. Bernard, and St. Joseph! Located at 414 Church Street, Honesdale, Pennsylvania, our church is a vibrant place of worship where we invite you to explore and deepen your faith journey.

Our commitment to Dominican spirituality invites you to engage in study and contemplation, unlocking the power of wisdom through the Sacred Scriptures and Sacred Tradition. Join us in our monthly gatherings to share and expand the collective wisdom of our community.
This season, we have special events to commemorate our patron, St. Bernard of Clairvaux, as we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the church established in his honor. We invite you to join Bishop Bambera for the Pontifical Mass on September 29th at 10:30 AM at our Beach Lake location. Please note there will be no Mass at St. John that day.
As we approach the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Mother on August 15th, a Holy Day of Obligation, we encourage everyone to participate in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Check our bulletin for Mass times and join us in celebrating this important feast.
We also extend our gratitude to all who participated in our joyful Vacation Bible School. A special thanks to Anna Avery and her team for energizing the faith of our young children and teen volunteers. Your commitment and enthusiasm are truly commendable.
We look forward to welcoming you to our community, where faith, wisdom, and love guide us in our journey with Christ. Let us embrace His teachings and partake in the Bread of Life, strengthening our union with Him and each other.
