Welcome to the Unitarian Universalist Church, located at 222 Temple Street in Fredonia, New York. As a vibrant place of worship, we are proud to be the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Northern Chautauqua (UUCNC). Our community is dedicated to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment for all who seek spiritual growth and social justice.
At UUCNC, we believe in the power of collective action and the importance of addressing societal challenges. Our Green Sanctuary Team is actively involved in promoting civic engagement by sending non-partisan postcards to voters, in collaboration with the Center for Common Ground and as part of the UU the Vote initiative. This effort aims to combat voter suppression and empower individuals to make their voices heard.
Inspired by the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson, "Live in the sunshine, swim the sea, drink the wild air," we embrace the beauty and potential of each day. As we transition into a new year, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to our outgoing Executive Board president, Val Colt, and welcome the new leadership with optimism and hope for seamless continuity.
Our board is committed to the efficient management of our congregation's activities and to listening to the evolving needs of our community. We are grateful for the thoughtful guidance of Rev. Ron Skowronski, whose sermons and advisory role continue to inspire us.
The strength of UUCNC lies in the active participation of our congregation and committees. Together, we strive to address the needs and aspirations of our community with dedication and enthusiasm.
