"I grew up going to this Catholic church with my grandparents,aunts&uncles,cousins,mother, my brothers and friends from school and their parents and siblings...it's a very small village and back in the 70s and 80s everyone knew everyone. I made my 1st communion here and my confirmation also. I attended religious education classes every Sunday morning before church and when I got into my teen years I sang in the choir and was a part of the CYO program(christian youth organization) my grandparents were very involved in everything to do with this church and I even went with them and helped when it needed to be cleaned. It was such a beautiful church back then with gorgeous stained glass windows. One of My Aunts had her wedding here and my oldest daughter who's now going to be 26 in Nov. was baptized here also. Apr 12th and Aug 5th of this year we held the funerals of my grandparents...I miss the way things used to be when my family went to Our Lady of the Snows Church but am forever grateful for my religious upbringing and for my Grandmother teaching me all my prayers when I was 5 years old. I still to this day 40 yrs later can recite pretty much the whole mass and remember the words to most of the songs...this is definitely a family friendly church and I know you would love it just as much as me!"
