Reviews
"Very kind employees, everyone was very knowledgeable and passionate about music. I worked with Andy to find a great bass and he helped find cables and straps. He found good reliable products in my price range. There was a wide selection of basses, guitars, etc. and there was immediately an employee to help plug in the bass I wanted to try."
"I love the store! Staff service is top notch at making the experience very catered and relaxing. The used gear prices are phenomenal! A pleasure every time I visit!"
"I purchased a tlm102 Neumann microphone and a universal audio twin finity 710 preamp the retail value of these two items were roughly 1700$ together. I had these items two months and realized that they were way too powerful without a mixer to control them for my home apartment studio. I took them back because I tried out an Aston spirit and was expecting a nice trade in and little bit of money back because the Aston spirit mic is only 450$ retail. The guy working the counter Matt’s eyes got real big when I came in and prior mentioned he wanted one of the preamp’s I bought. However they only wanted to do trade in value and not give me no return because it was passed the 45 day mark, and being I needed to record asap and I was in a position. I should have known better but I feel like they didn’t give me the true value of my equipment they made over 1200$ in profit on resale and I went back a week later and it never even made it back on the shelf. I am really upset I did this to myself I should have just kept it. It’s just crazy to me that they didn’t offer me more even though I had the receipts. I feel shafted after awhile at first I liked the quality of the mic and thought price didn’t matter but after time I acquired a new mixer from college and I just really feel like they got over… I guess I’m paying for being under pressure back then financially still I don’t think that employee valued customers he saw what he wanted and was very persuasive in me taking the trade in value … I regret the decision and feel it would be wrong not to say something the store was fairlawn in Ohio be careful trading in or selling gear they will rip you off even though they make billions which is sad considering the artists need it more than their employees do … that’s all …"
"Good chain store to buy/sell equipment. This place has a weird rule that used equipment has a mandatory hold for a certain length of time. So you may find something you want but you have to return later to pick it up."
"I honestly don't understand all the poor reviews. I bought 3 different components to make music and wasn't satisfied with the quality to price ratio and John who helped me was so genuine and kind to me when I had to make some returns. He didn't put me down or belittle me. He didn't make me feel inferior nor dumb or small. He was very calm and collected and very throughout when helping me and explaining things. To he honest some workers I like engaging with better than others but I personally the few times I was in there had pleasant experiences with all the men who treated me with kind and respect. John just happened to go above and beyond to give the best customer experience. Please give this man a well deserved raise! Thank you so much and have a great day! Also: all the men were some of the nicest retail workers ever."
