"My NP Provider is great! She took me off a medication that we determined caused my car accident! She very caring and kind! She will take the time she needs to take care of you! I would recommend this office! Plus the office manager and Nursing manager are the best!!! Also if you need to schedule an appointment they will get you in as soon as they can! I even had a video visit when I need to talk to my PCP!"

"Always had a negative experience with Bassett, between them not taking no for an answer or accusing me of "only wanting attention" and to "go home we don't have any doctor here who will see you and we wouldn't call one in for you anyway!" My advice STAY AWAY FROM BASSETT AND BASSETT HOPSITAL! They only see out as a number and are not worth it! As soon as upu notice a decline in your health, it's time to look elsewhere for health care even if you have to drive out of your way, it's worth it! Also it might be worth reporting some of these issues to albany"

"Oneonta students beware! They are seriously price gouging at Bassett Health Center with or without insurance. The cost of an x-ray was 4X what it should be with insurance and 8 dollars less without. If it's not life threatening I would go somewhere else. Unfortunately there aren't any local options that I could find or that the school knew of."

"The ultimate goal of this facility, from my experience and the experiences of acquaintances, is to profit off of the vulnerable. If you’re looking for providers that have pride in their practice, skill and knowledge of their profession, or a lick of empathy, go anywhere else but Bassett. The people that work here are involved in a well-organized con to exploit people who are looking for help. I’ve been with Bassett since I moved to this area, for about 8 years. This is hands down, the worst care I’ve ever received as a whole. My health has been declining ever since I’ve been under their care. I’ve been denied care while suffering immensely. Reaching and reaching for better care, asking for more help, being ignored. I had a provider there, Mary Pharrell, tell me that if I didn’t “like” the medication she was prescribing me, that I was “putting [her] out of business.” This nurse practitioner was never willing to listen to my concerns, or see anything from my point of view. After every appointment, feeling like I wasn’t heard, she had the audacity to attach a copy-pasted “review” of our sessions which contained pages of information no where near applicable to my case such as “the dangers of eating sugar”. I reached out to the director of the facility for a change in provider, to which I was told that I could leave and find a doctor elsewhere. Because 80% of the doctors covered by my insurance are through Bassett, I can’t see anyone in the area, because Bassett won’t give me an appointment to see anyone else. I then reached out for a patient advocate to file a complaint and after taking a lot of time and energy to file a complaint, I was never contacted again. After reaching out a second time to ask why I haven’t heard anything- no reason was given, and (surprise) no follow up with that either. I could go on and on, and maybe I’ll come back here to elaborate on this review in the future, but right now I am using the last of my sanity to find good providers. For now, I want anyone who’s reading this to be at least somewhat aware of what you’re getting into if you choose Bassett."

"My baby goes here, on the pediatrics side (obviously) for all her regular check ups. All the staff is very friendly and her NP takes the time to listen to any concerns or issues I feel my baby is having. They are patient and kind, and great with my little girl."
