Bassett Convenient Care Oneonta

"I’ve had one fabulous experience here and one absolutely terrible experience the latter of which, was yesterday. Basically paid a $40 copay to be told I had a cyst on my eye which is ridiculous. I would never go to convenient care on a gosh darn Sunday for a cyst!!!! The PA did not listen to a word I was saying. I was told to apply warm compresses and now my infection has spread. I’m trying to get an appointment for my own doctor and was told I can’t be seen till the end of September for a sick visit! How the hell does that help anyone?!?! The Bassett system is broken."

"Was able to make a same day appointment on a Sunday afternoon. I was checked in, seen, and diagnosed within 15 minutes. The staff was friendly and caring. I would definitely recommend Bassett Convenient Care Oneonta."

"I have two cracked ribs. My PA was out of the country and I couldn't see him until June 17th. I visited the emergency room May 30th on the day of my accident. The attending doctor could only give me enough pain meds for the cracked ribs until about the 6th of June. I went to the Basset Convient Care and they were able to give me more meds. This was my first time going to Bassett Convient Care. Everyone from the receptionist to the PA was kind. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. I would definitely go back again when I need medical care."

"If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Do not go here at all, I sat in the room for 40 minutes waiting for a doctor to come in and spiked a fever of 102. They only did a strep test and sent me on my way telling me it was a virus when I ended up having a severe upper respiratory infection and ear infections. I now get a bill in the mail for $100 and they’re charging me as if they’re a hospital. I tried going here when I had a seizure and they told me “we’re not a hospital and cannot help you” but now I’m being a charged a hospital bill for a strep test. Every time I talk to someone I get different answers and no one can help me correct this. They insist on charging my insurance as if they’re a hospital and they’re not."

"Do not go to this place, I’ve been trying to get referrals to see a doctor and they have been back and forth with different information for 3 days and wouldn’t give me an appointment without a referral but then wouldn’t let me get an NPI for a referral. I spoke to Jackie today in convenience care who was nasty saying their doctors can’t check me out for a regular appointment and that I have to go to the ER and rudely hung up on me. Don’t go to basset, they apparently don’t have all the right things needed to check out regular patients and won’t be able to help at all according to Jackie."
