He completed his internship and residency at Southside Hospital in New York and is board certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine. "I have only had Dr Furgeson as my doctor a few years, and yet he is always available. I can get an appt if I'm sick, and not have to wait days. I also get the best doctors recommended to me. I have been going thru a health challenge and I find the doctor is always there, if only to talk. It's nice to have a doctor who cares and doesn't only give each patient 10 minutes. "Been a patient of Dr. Ferguson for a long time, since the early 2000s. I admire Dr. F's charity work; that is very commendable. Our interactions have become rote and I believe it's better for me to find another doctor at this point. His staff is wonderful and pleasant. One complaint is when you take a test, say, blood test you should get a call if something isn't right. They never called me to let me know I had high cholesterol on a blood test I took in November I recently asked for a copy and was surprised to see my cholesterol level, I should have definitely have been made aware of that."
