"A doctor that humiliates, belittles and talks down to their patients should NOT be a doctor. Anybody who goes here, just be prepared to not have your questions answered, as you run the risk off inconveniencing the doctor. Awful place. Nurses are kind and sympathetic and should consider working for a much kinder and personable doctor."

"If you have a serious health issue and need help do not go to this office. Stat blood work takes over a week to come back, and when going over those results make sure you question what you were tested for. If so, you may realize that the whole purpose of your visit was never tested. Then you’ll have to wait another week for those results since you as a patient are not a priority there. Also, watch the medicines you’re prescribed- the doctor will/may give you prescriptions you can not take due to genetic conditions he knows about. I recommend finding another office where they care about helping their patients and double check their work, if not enjoy a horrible experience when you actually need help."

"I Have been here at True Health East Islip Family Care for a couple of years now. My husband also sees him and we both have been extremely satisfied with the care that they provide. Very compassionate, attentive and very knowledgeable. I never feel that I am being rushed when I am talking to their staff. The clinic is clean with a lovely atmosphere and the staffs are truly professional."

"They would not provide me the full results of my Blood Test because Dr. Desai was not in yet and I had to get to work. I called but the guy who answered had no idea why I was calling and when a nurse or another staff member finally got on the phone they still refused to give my results with out paying another $175.00 to hear the resukt in person. A shame. I have been going to this facility since Dr. Maccone. The staffing up front are rude, not all of them just the newer employees. In the process of find a new doctor."

"1st time and last time going there. Their attitude sucked. The main nurse that greets you at the front desk that gives you the forms to fill out was very nice, along with the assistant nurse. The rest of the nurses had some disrespectful attitudes and were not helpful. They tried to manipulate a copay of 65 out of pocket when my insurance clearly fully covers it under my plan. Ended up going to a different doctor same exact day and my results were night and day. I’ve spoken to others that had bad experiences at this place from years ago before I knew and they all said the same thing. They stopped going there for the same reasons. I try to give places a chance. Not here for me. Good luck if you go to this place."
