Her extensive training includes an OB/GYN residency at Cleveland Clinic Akron General and an MFM fellowship at Stony Brook Medicine.
With research interests that span fetal heart rate signal processing, machine learning, and maternal mental health, among others, Dr. Heiselman is at the forefront of women's health care. She is particularly passionate about addressing social determinants of health, opioid use disorder in pregnancy, and birth satisfaction.
Dr. Heiselman also serves as the Assistant Program Director for the Global Women’s Health Fellowship and Co-Medical Director of the Coordinated Fetal Care Program at Stony Brook University Hospital.
