"The wait times at this office are insane. I arrived early for my appointment, but the receptionist had trouble with my insurance and didn't radio that I was checked into until 2 minutes after the appointment start time. I then spent 25 minutes in the waiting room. It's currently 50 minutes after I was supposed to be seen, guess I'll update this review when the provider actually sees me."

"Update: I had called on a Tuesday and left a voicemail with the nursing triage. Today is Friday and I've still yet to receive a call back. Meanwhile, I've already made an appointment with a new office, saw the dr AND started a treatment regimen. This office is the actual pits and I'd be ashamed to refer anyone here. Saw someone's review that people shouldn't be reviewing the office based on the behaviors of the people at the front desk. Those people are the first people someone who needs help will speak to and see. No matter how great the Drs are, if you can't get past the front desk, what's the point. --- Absolutely terrible process when trying to make an appointment. Apparently their procedure is that you cannot make an appointment for any issues unless you speak with the nursing triage. For what reason? Who knows because they won't explain that to you. I get transferred to the nursing triages voicemail, so who knows when I'll get a call back to discuss my issues AND THEN they will decide if I can make an appointment. Absolutely ridiculous, considering a patient is requesting to be seen and was previously told to come be seen if the issue is reoccurring. I'm also not a new patient. No one likes to go see doctors but apparently this location likes for it to be difficult for patients to be seen."

"First - patients should absolutely rate an office by who answers the phone, handles medication requests etc- it is ALL part of patient care. I work for a doctors office and it is a shame how I was spoken to. I asked for RX refill on day I saw doctor - first appt of day. (Dr is absolutely wonderful) however it was not filled. Called back to inquire and was told it was not entered by nurse I spoke to originally. The nurse returning the call was very rude as if I was bother calling to follow up- meanwhile the order wasnt entered 2 days later. REVISED4/4 Received a follow up call from the Administrator Barbara- she was very concerned and wanted to make sure things were taken care of. She is looking into my RX and took the time to speak with me about my experience. I am thankful for the time and care given to ensure the high quality Stonybrook is known for."

"People need to stop reviewing doctor’s offices based on who answers the phone/sits at the desk. This practice has the BEST doctors and nurses in the area and it’s a shame they only have 2.9 stars. Don’t let yourself be turned away because of that. I had my baby on 12/16/23 and Dr. Welischar delivered him and every request and desire was met regarding my pregnancy I couldn’t be happier. And the care I received before, during and after pregnancy was and is EXCEPTIONAL! I wouldn’t put my baby in the hands of anyone else and I’m a severely crunchy/anxiety ridden Mom."

"Have gone here for years with no issues, until today. My doctor moved locations and they cancelled my appt without notice. I called to reschedule one portion and was told it was okay to reschedule the rest at the other location with my preferred doctor. A new nurse named Amanda followed me into the bathroom, closed the door, and berated me for not booking the other portion of my appt when I only found out two days ago that my appt had been cancelled with no notice. When she noticed I was beginning to have a panic attack she continued to scold me for once again, circumstances that were out of my control. I am absolutely disgusted by her behavior and will never return to this office, and will be filing a formal complaint."
