His journey began in childhood, inspired by family members in the medical field, and has since evolved through rigorous training and fellowships at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Dr. Kella specializes in bariatric, laparoscopic, and robotic sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass surgery, and adjustable gastric band surgery. He is also proficient in colorectal surgery and the treatment of conditions such as achalasia, gastroesophageal reflux disease, and various hernias.
Our practice is a part of the esteemed NYU Langone Hospital—Long Island, recognized as a center of excellence for bariatric surgery for over two decades.
