"Dr. Lee was my surgeon. It was emergency surgery & I was a little apprehensive since I did not know the doctor. However, Dr. Lee did something not many surgeons would do. While operating on me he saw my intestines had turned purple & were very , very twisted & not getting any blood supply. He untwisted the intestines and waited 10 minutes until the intestines turned pink again. He could have easily cut out the almost dead portion of my intestines ( if so I would have had a colostomy) , but he took the time and massaged the intestine for another 10 minutes until he knew everything was good. This to me, is a caring, patient, person and a wonderful surgeon. I thank him from the bottom of my heart and thank God that he was on call that night. Margaret Peragine , lake grove, N . Y."
