"I couldn’t raise my arms above my head or move them across my body without pain. It began as a slight discomfort and slowly, gradually, increased to pain and immobilization. I was too busy to go to the doctor. It wasn’t until it affected my activities of daily living that I sought help (getting dressed, blow drying my hair, hugging my husband).
