Syracuse Inn

"Room was recently remodeled and repainted. It was clean(ish). There was a cigarette burn hole in the bedcover and the room had a slight cigarette smoke smell. Found a dead bug which is better than a live bug I guess. No bedbugs, which is always a positive. The front desk staff was helpful. They switched our room to a first floor room so we wouldn’t have to carry our 3 luggage bags up the stairs because there is no elevator available. Room service doesn’t knock, just opens the room door which was surprising. Location is okay. It’s near the highway so it’s easy to get to. Surrounded by a lot of other hotels but not a lot of traffic. Okay place if you’re looking for a cheap hotel for one night."

"0/10 do not recommend On my arrival I had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to come to the front desk , he was on the phone the whole time while checking me in. I get to my room there is no room number so I have to go back and forth a little to figure it out. I get in the room and the floor is not swept all the way no biggie right … noticed the refrigerator was warm , I have medicine that needs to be refrigerated , I go to the front desk let him know he said give him 10 minutes… 20 minutes go by the tv isn’t working , I go back out to see what’s happening he’s in the lobby area eating McDonald’s with his feet up. He goes to get a new refrigerator and comes to install it . Huffing and puffing the whole time very uncomfortable experience. We get the tv and refrigerator fixed he does not sweep up the mess he made . Bed - holes in blanket , 2 very flat pillows , stains on everything Floor - new flooring but uneven and make so much noise when you walk , not swept Bathroom - disgusting is all I’m going to say House keeping - barged in my room at 9am when check out isn’t until 11am Location - everytime a car drove by the window it was like the building shook , you can hear every little thing that happens in the hall Again 0/10 do not recommend!"

"The front desk guys were friendly. But other than that, you get what you pay for (or less). This hotel is in need of a serious remodel, or at the very least a deep clean. It looks like it's days away from closing up for good. The mattresses need to be flipped. The fridge in our room did not work. The room held four people, but there was only one towel. The hallway smelled strongly of smoke and the room smelled of nose-burning disinfectant. There was no breakfast or coffee in the lobby, but that was ok, we just wanted to get out of there quickly. We expected more from a Wyndham property."

"This place is a run down motel 6. Rooms felt dirty like 50 years old and never updated kind of dirty. The beds had to have been made of one giant spring as there's no support whatsoever. Never anyone at the desk and walls were so thin I could hear everything down the hallway. 3 nights didn't here and only 6 hours of sleep in total, and that's after a 23 hour drive. Just Spend the extra money and get a much better sleep, stay away from here."
