"I've been seeing Dr. Patrick Burns for decades now. His level of concern, his thoughtful listening, and his positive and collaborative approach to patient care remain intact! Most importantly, his knowledge and experience have obviously not changed at all since the realities of the medical industry caught up to his practice. And honestly, although I dislike the idea of a massive health system like Northwell running the show, Dr. Burns' practice remains friendly and reasonably accessible."

"I have been seeing Dr Burns for several years and always found him to be a great doctor and the practice has been great. That has completely collapsed since they joined Northwell. Now you're lucky if you get someone on the phone to make an appointment and good luck seeing Burns himself. Their practice is now nothing more than a factory. I could not be more let down and after several years I am moving on. Very sad situation"

"Since Northwell Health has taken over much of the healthcare system on Long Island, medicine has gone from the fast to the super hot express lane. Burns will never meet the goals or pressures that Northwell puts on its physicians and hospitals. Now, P. Burns is no better or worse than any other physician who has to see 50 patients a day. Healthcare is spiraling down. Northwell a non profit. Really?"
