Dr. Tavroff is right there with him. Another top notch Dr. in the office. I see either of them and have never had an issue. Thanks for all the years of happy feet."

"I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Leon. He is one of the most caring doctors I have ever met. My 2 year old son has been battling chronic ingrown toenails since he was 6 months old. They kept getting infected over and over until the tissue was actually growing over the nail. We saw a different podiatrist back in April who removed part of his toenails in the office which was an absolute nightmare as my baby was only 1 1/2 years old and it was like torture for him to go through. Multiple shots in each toe while he kicked and screamed while we had to pin him down. I never wanted to have to put him through this ever again. My husband and I soaked my sons toes in Epsom salt for 7 months every night to prevent these infections from coming back but it became inevitable. After a lot of research and multiple phone calls we decided to make an appointment with Dr. Leon not knowing he had operated on my step mother years before. My step mother reached out to Dr Leon to let him know her 2 year old grandson was coming in for his toenails and Dr. Leon told her to have me send him a picture ahead of time. It was a good thing that I did. Dr Leon advised me how serious this infection could get if it was not taken care of surgically and for a 2 year old anesthesia was the more appropriate option. This was scary yet a relief knowing my son wouldn’t have to undergo another procedure awake at his age. Not even knowing who I was yet Dr. Leon advised everything I needed to do, checked with his surgical center immediately to make sure they could accommodate a 2 year old, and called his office to get me into his Queens office first thing the next morning. From there we met with him, he could not have made us feel more comfortable. Explained everything we needed to know and could not have been more kind and kid friendly. the morning of the procedure he texted me to reassure me that everything would be okay. He knew I was extremely nervous. The procedure went as planned and now my sons toes are on the road to recovery and looking better and better each day. This is the biggest weight off of our shoulders and we can’t thank Dr. Leon enough for everything he has done for us and our baby. I must say I texted him probably more than I should have with questions and he always got back to me. Not many doctors would do what he did. I highly recommend him to anyone especially for anyone with a young child!"
