"His staff are always pleasant on the phone, they remember you from one visit to the next, and the office is a comfortable space. He is always very thorough, going through previous records to bring both you and himself up to date and ensuring that everyone is on the same page. He suggests different treatment options and possibilities, and after stabilization of a particular issue he will examine ways to reduce the medication needed for long-term health. I recommend this doctor to everyone I know who is looking for a gastro."

"Dr. Rampersaud is the absolute best gastroenterologist I’ve ever known. He has the best bedside manner out of any doctor I’ve known in general. He is knowledgeable, intelligent, caring, and personally breaks down everything in layman’s terms for his patients. Not enough doctors do this for their patients, so this is something I value highly and should be acknowledged. I have never felt rushed in his office, he takes the entire office visit to listen to your concerns and read your file- and he is never racing out the door like other doctors. Another plus, I only had to wait 1-2 weeks for an appointment as well. Some doctors I used to wait months to see in the past. I went to him a few months back after not seeing him for 1-2 years through the pandemic and he still remembered me personally. He is the ONLY gastroenterologist I would personally ever go to. I even drive from NJ to just go to him! I used to be treated by two other gastroenterologists on Staten Island and the experience was horrible. He is 100% the best GI doctor on Staten Island and the only doctor I trust to treat myself and my family. I would recommend him over and over again."
