"I’ve attended both the Kearny and Harrison WIC locations. The same staff member work at both locations. My times at both locations were uncomfortable and unpleasant. I was discriminated against without a doubt. I was told I was a “crazy lady” ignored (they were in their phones each times even after making eye contact) laughed at and when I requested a replacement card due to my wallet being stolen, the staff member with the blonde hair, glasses told me “maybe if I had some money I wouldn’t have lost my card but your here”with a smirk. I was applaud. No one should be treated this way while requesting assistance or due to their race and an organization that is supposed to help supplement one’s food budget should not have individuals working for them that treat humans this way. I believe their attempt was to make me uncomfortable enough that I would go find a new location and they have succeeded. I will be filling a complaint most definitely so others won’t have to experience what I had to."

"I just spoke with a staff member named Mary, who was extremely professional and helpful. While she had no means to fulfill my request for records due to an extensive lapse in time, she patiently explained to me how I might go about obtaining them. Great experience!"
