"This is my first of two surgeries that Doctor Kwan is or has performed. I would get into the story behind it but let’s just say I had no disc in my lumbar spine and doc was the only one of a few who wanted to get in and get going. The rest were like ohh it’s this and that, doc was like it’s non of that it’s this. Anyways it’s been about 4-5 months since surgery and I can walk and lift lower body. Due to another doctor I went to and they slacked on fixing me I still can’t do upper body because a level Doctor Kwan is going to fix(and save me) is collapsed to keep it simple. Now to doctor Kwan. He is a straight shooter he doesn’t hide anything and he is great at what he does. He makes sure once out of surgery that you are ok comes in until you leave the hospital. Doctor Kwan is not like many other doctors he will fight until the fight seems like it is over and then some. Not many doctors will do the job Dr. Kwan does. I will forever be grateful and thankful for Doc and his staff. He is one of a kind and will update after my next surgery. Hopefully he sees his reviews because the doctor is a amazing person. He really does care about the people he treats."

"When I met Dr. Kwan, I was in so much pain, that I could not stand for more than a few minutes, and struggled to walk. Dr. Kwan saw me in his office, examined a scan from Englewood hospital, and saw a cancerous lesion in one of my vertebrae that had deteriorated my bone. The bone was pinching my nerves, causing extreme pain. He immediately took control of the situation. He told me to get to Jersey City medical center, as soon as possible, and put a whole team together to handle my care. He prescribed pain control, blood testing, multiple types of scans, and a course of treatment. I was met by a team of professionals as soon as I was admitted. Within days, a surgical team led by Dr. Kwan, fixated my spine, removed a tumor and sent me to recovery. My excruciating pain was gone.
