She also received a city council citation in Queens and a certificate of excellence from The Healthcare Association of New York State for her contributions to Hurricane Maria relief efforts in Puerto Rico.

"The female who was supposed to be taking my vitals had an attitude because she didn't want my service dog to accompany me to the room and then ended up not giving me the heart test I need because of the dog so instead I get to stay on blood pressure medicine that causes depression. I listened to that staff member and the supervisor make negative remarks about me and the dog to each other as well as are you with my daughter when she's explaining the legalities of a service dog . It clearly says service dog on the dogs of us so I don't know why anyone who can read English would get an attitude when a disabled patient has to come in with their service animal. This is why I like telemedicine so I don't have to deal with disability discrimination. Okay so today the office staff made me go outside with my service dog and asked me if I had paperwork for it and then told me the doctors not comfortable with the dog because it's too active. She lays on the ground. Today I'm over it I'm going to file with a justice department because it's illegal to not permit a service dog in a place of business in NY so this is the second and last time that I'm not being seen by this doctor when I have to be seen by a doctor."
