Dr. Haleh Pazwash, MD

"This rating does not reflect my experience with Dr. Pazwash- I think she is a caring and skilled doctor. This rating is based on my interaction with two office staff members. Despite me sitting down and speaking with the prescription coordinator to have my prescriptions sent to a new pharmacy (and providing that contact information to her) I received a text the following day that my prescription was sent to the incorrect pharmacy. When I contacted this pharmacy, I was informed that no prescriptions had been received from Dr. Pazwash's office. I then called the pharmacy that was supposed to have received the prescriptions thinking that perhaps the text I received listed the incorrect pharmacy by mistake, but no prescriptions were there, either. I contacted the office and after waiting for an extended period of time on hold, the person I spoke with insisted that my prescriptions were sent to the correct pharmacy, despite me explaining that I spoke with someone in person the day before when I was there for my appointment AND that neither pharmacy had received the prescription orders. Instead of apologizing for the error and telling me that the issue would be handled correctly, this employee became very argumentative and aggressive. She continually spoke over me, which made the situation even more frustrating. I was in the area so I went to the office to get this matter settled in person, and this same employee was just as rude and unprofessional as she was on the phone. It's a shame that a patient must deal with incompetent and unpleasant people, especially when the doctor is excellent. Perhaps better training is needed for these two employees. I must add that Kacie, who was at the front desk on the day of my appointment, could not have been more pleasant or helpful."

"I started seeing Dr. Pazwash about 16 years ago. At the time she was at another practice and none of the other doctors there were helping me. In fact, they were hurting me! I had lost about 40 lbs in a couple of months ... looked like a skeleton and if I was lucky I could eat one sandwich a day at night. I always felt like I had a full Thanksgiving dinner. I saw Dr. P and we immediately clicked!!! She seemed to know EXACTLY at my first visit what to do and check for and she was right on the mark with her diagnoses!! Unfortunately, I have other rare idiopathic health conditions and moved from the area, however, I am moving back soon because the state I moved to has horrible and horrific doctors and facilities. I'm looking forward to returning to her excellent care. Dr. Pazwash is friendly, knowledgeable, listens and most importantly caring! I can't say enough good things about her or give her enough stars! Dr. Pazwash in my opinion is one of two TOP doctors I've seen in my life and at that time I lived all my life in NNJ for 61 years!!!!!! Ken"

"This doctor came highly recommended to me, so, because of an abnormal test result, I called for an appointment. I got an appointment 2 months later (which did not surprise me), and my primary care doctor said she could accept that. Now, 3 WEEKS LATER, I get a call telling me the doctor ISN'T TAKING NEW PATIENTS! Seriously, 3 weeks to call me, especially when I had specifically said I had abnormal test results. Then they tell me I could see a colleague - I knew nothing of any of these doctors. I said I would look elsewhere. Then the woman tells me she will tell the office I only wanted to see Dr. Pazwash, and I still haven't heard a word. I ABOSOLUTELY WILL NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE."

"If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Dr. Pazwash is a phenomenal doctor! She is thorough, caring and compassionate. She not only goes out of her way for her patients, but is an incredible emotional support system for the entire family. Her bedside manor is none like it. The staff is also incredible as they go above and beyond to answer any questions and always gets back to you in a timely manner. They are always flexible and accommodating when scheduling. I am happy to be a part of Dr. Pazwash's team!"

"My wife searched online for the best GI doctors in the area for my colonoscopy screening test. We feel blessed to find Dr. Pazwash after we saw so many good reviews. We contacted her office and was able to schedule the initial visit quickly with the help of her staff. Dr. Pazwash is probably one of the best GI doctors you would ever meet. She is warm, caring and accommodating. She immediately moved up my screening procedure after I mentioned some change in my bowel habits. It can make a difference in patient life if “something” is developing. I very much her efforts. The assistant Jennifer and other staff is friendly, helpful and very prompt in returning phone calls. I highly recommend Dr. Pazwash if you are looking for a GI doctor."
