Dr. Giella is a seasoned professional with an impressive educational background, having graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. from Amherst College and earning his MD from Harvard Medical School. His extensive post-graduate training includes a surgical internship and residency at St. Vincent’s Hospital, followed by a urology residency and chief residency at the renowned Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center.
With over three decades of experience, Dr. Giella serves as an attending physician at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, Nyack Hospital in Nyack, and Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla. His commitment to excellence is recognized by his peers, having been named among the "Best Doctors" by Hudson Valley Magazine.
Dr. Giella is a certified Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Urology. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and an active member of numerous professional associations, including the American Urological Association and the Rockland County Medical Society.

Dr. Giella reviewed my concerns and was very clear that I needed to address the issue immediately. He explained the risks and benefits of his treatment plan and was just alarmist enough to motivate me to immediately respond to his recommendation. The medication he prescribed quickly improved my condition. In a separate, but related note.
