"The doctors and nurses are wonderful. However the receptionists are incompetent. I called multiple times over the course of a few months. And spoke to the same receptionist every time. I never received a call back, and every time I told her anything, she would repeat back to me something completely different. She did not pay attention or care about what I had to say. Now I am several months over due for infusions, because no one has contacted me or updated me on anything. When I did finally speak to someone else, they had no clue I had been calling."

"Dr. Matthew is outstanding and very nice. The receptionist staff however is very unpleasant and not helpful over the phone. I tried calling for my husband and the lady I talked to was just trying to get me off the phone. Was not customer service friendly at all. I’ve worked in that industry for 6+ years and have never treated my clients and or customers that way. Very unprofessional and I am just in shock and so displeased. So much that we will be looking for a whole new allergist! :("

"Very friendly staff, nurses and the doctors really explained everything in detail. This was my first apt as a new patient. I was very pleased with the care I received and the plan I have in place for my asthma and allergies . Dr Mavi was amazing ."

"It’s unfortunate because I’ve been with Dr. Rakoff‘s office for almost 15 years and I’ve finally had enough. I probably should have left early on instead of ignoring how absolutely rude and incompetent the administrative and billing staff is, but I stuck it out only to get screwed one final last time. They can’t keep their billing system straight or correctly bill insurance and then blame the patient for their errors by billing ridiculous late fees and threatening collections. The secretaries have always been rude as others have noted. As for Dr. Rockoff, when we started he seemed very compassionate and attentive. As of the last few years, he says the same thing every time I take my son which is one more visit and then we can move to once a year, even though my son‘s breathing has improved / stabilized showing minimal impairment by asthma. It’s disheartening and gives you the feeling that the focus is not on patient care, but money. They also recently refused to fill a script for unknown reasons, to which I had to get it filled by my primary doctor. This office unfortunately has proven to me that it is more motivated by money then kindness and good health. I’ve given many passes and second chances over the years, it’s just not worth being treated that way especially when they refuse to fill scripts, despite being current with appointments. I’m done."
