"I got discharged from him when I wound up in the ER. He posted it to my MyChart while I was laying there. Than to say the least he said I threatened him, when I said I was going to take further action."

"Wish I could give 0 stars. Since Dr. Barbato becoming my primary care doctor I’ve been met with nothing but dismissal for ANY of my concerns. 1 example is when my hair started thinning and I requested an appointment with him, he refused to order a vitamin panel or a hormone panel on me and looked at my scalp for 2 seconds and decided “it looked fine” and told me to see a dermatologist. When I told him I was anxious about the hair thinning he said “Awww”. This time was the last straw, I am an ICU nurse and called the office while I was at work because for 4-5days I was having fever, worsening shortness of breath, and severe back pain with cough, I was told by the triage LPN I needed to take a Covid test, took the test negative and called back with my results, she said she’d let him know, never heard back, called back, they said “we’re short staffed” then was called hours later to be told Dr. Barbato believes this is viral and call back in 10 days if I’m not better. 10 DAYS?!?! seriously… When a 28 year old healthy patient tells you they’re short of breath with severe back pain and you don’t even want to see them in the office OR do a video call… OR even speak with the patient to see what’s going on that’s a giant red flag. The best part was in my “my chart” they wrote a note that said “Dr. Barbato spoke with patient” NEVER once did I speak with a Dr. from the four phone calls I had in one day. Dr Barbato doesn’t care about his patients. Why have a doctor if I can’t even come see my doctor when I’m sick? Now I will have to go to urgent care and spend more money on co pays because of his gross negligence. Do yourself a favor and find someone else as your doctor. He clearly doesn’t value the health or safety of his patients. I will be leaving this practice immediately."

"Be careful if you are elderly or your elderly parent goes here. My Dad is 90 and was transferred to this doctor when his retired. We went in for a 6 month check up. The evil nurse with the cat eye glasses was so nasty, asking him when he last showered. I told her he showers once a week and has an aide 5 days a week and I also moved in to help him. Then Dr. Barbato came in. He was very nice and said he would have a social worker call us tomorrow to get more help. I said sure. No social worker ever called but we got a visit from adult protective services. She said the doctor's office called. She looked around, met Dad's aide and said she's closing the case. Just FYI, as a social worker I can tell you that APS is for abuse, fraud, failure to provide medical care etc. When you call over nonsense, you are taking time away from real emergencies. Shame on you! Do you want my father to die in a disgusting facility? Where is the help from your social worker? This doctor cares more about partying than his elderly patients. Find someone better."

"I knew when Dr. Komin left, her shoes would be very hard to fill. I was unpleased with Dr. Barbato. I feel I was not thoroughly examined properly and was put down in the records that I had a sore throat, when I had a blood blister on my tonsil, but my throat was NOT sore. His mannerism, in my opinion, was not the best and not what I was looking for. So I have chosen to leave and found an excellent doctor with Dr Savard."

"I called the practice. Was a Friday. Was told I would be called back the next week. I was not. Called again yesterday. Still no call back. If not accepting new patients, just say so. My brother likes him. P.S. since I wrote this, the Dr. Has been in touch. This seems to have been a misunderstanding. I may edit this again and add more stars."
