"Dr. Brink-Cymmerman is a nice person but she needs to know when to refer someone outside of her practice. She has twice now dismissed serious concerns of mine as “stress” or “not a big deal,” when those ended up being symptoms of two different SERIOUS chronic illnesses. Some of my concerns were missing menstrual cycles, in which she would REGULARLY tell me “you’re lucky not to get your cycle!” and “why is that such a concern of yours?” I finally found a doctor who would listen to my concern and got diagnosed with a chronic illness. It would have been much more well managed at this point if it had been caught sooner."

"We just joined Dr. Cymerman’s practice due to our former PCP retirement. She was thorough, knowledgeable and asked appropriate questions about our histories. She was nothing if not gracious. We have gotten good advice about our risk profiles and believe we made an excellent choice for our next PCP. We are grateful to have found her."

"I have never written a review of a medical provider as I am one myself and hesitate to share based on my experience alone. However, my family’s experience so regularly terrible I want to at least makes it know. Dr. Brink-Cymerman is regularly condescending, she does not listen only she preaches her beliefs. One time she was incredibly inappropriate with her comment. My husband and I decided to call her on it...her embarrassment was obvious. While I thought it might change her behavior, it did not. She rarely remembers details about my health history, occupation, any details of previous visits, or our conversations. I do not believe it’s a memory issue, it appears to be lack of attentiveness. She does not follow through on her stated plans, nor does she consider the “the patient’s” perspective. Finally, she is dismissive of any issue that we decided to address in a non-confrontational and professional manner. We gave her this opportunity. Needless to say, she is no longer my provider."

"I switched to Dr. Brink-Cymerman last summer due to being dissatisfied with the previous medical group I'd been a patient with. She's attentive, asks a lot of questions, and is very proactive in my care. Her staff is professional, friendly and efficient. Having worked in medicine, I can't think of one thing I can find fault with."

"For years Dr. Brink-Cymerman failed to recognize a prominent facial lesion might be a skin cancer that I have a documented history of. Only after I stated the lesion was becoming irritated and blistering did she refer me to a dermatologist. The dermatologist's staff diagnosed this as basal cell carcinoma. Due to the long period with no treatment, the cancer had grown deep into my skin and required surgery. This resulted in a disfiguring scar. This doctor recently composed and signed an official document with false and misleading statements regarding my daughter."
