"Did hip replacement surgery though I didn't know I needed one, no pain etc. but just followed the lead of my then neurosurgeon in NYC. Hip replacement is a hindrance now after spinal fusion. Can't lift my right leg at all to put on socks etc. 2 and a half years later I saw him for pain at surgical site & follow-up to a fracture after a fall because his colleague referred me back to the NYC neurosurgeon, 2 years after spinal fusion. I mean, for Christ's sake. Scripped an epidural for site pain. No change. Have to call numerous times to get answers. Just made my 3rd phone call for referral to Crouse Neuro in Syracuse. If you're looking for good follow-up care I wouldn't go here. My physical therapist at UHS is more on the ball and knowledgeable. PS His colleague Issea is a complete waste of time. That's for another review."

"I took my daughter to Dr. Seybold for scoliosis. She was very distraught and he immediately put her at ease. He explained her condition to her including the brace she required in terms that she could understand. He followed up every 6 months to monitor her progress and change braces as she grew. He has proven to be a very friendly and competent doctor. I'm sorry that another reviewer had such a bad experience, but I have a feeling that was an exception rather than the norm."

"Do not use him for robotic knee surgery. He is a quack and incompetent He did a partial knee replacement for me 2 1/2 years ago. My knee still bleeds I’m in constant pain. He almost killed me with a blood clot going to my heart because he forgot to give me a blood thinner after surgery even though He took me off my blood thinner five days before surgery. He did not come in to the recovery room for an hour. By then I was on my way to a cardiac unit at Binghamton hospital."
