Mt. Olivet Cemetery

"What a terrible experience. The office staff we dealt with were horribly RUDE. We asked for names: Diana, Amy Tina. They should NOT be dealing with families that are suffering. We could barely speak before they cut us off. We were told we needed to speak to Nancy (manager), left several messages, she never returned any of our calls. We can not get our account fixed and our refund sent to us. We were warned she is an accounting disaster and that has proven to be true. Heard they recently got rid of the only nice, helpful employee. Why keep this Nancy that is causing financial trouble for the organization and get rid of a helpful one? Your prices are insanely high to begin with, then you over charged us (which we were told happens all the time) now we can't (8 MONTHS LATER) get our refund from this Nancy. Wish we had never set foot in that place."

"My grandmother is buried here and my grandfather who just passed will be laid to rest there this week. On Friday my family went in to ask questions about the burial service and follow up on some of my grandfathers wishes. The women who works at the front desk in the main office should find a new profession. She has zero customer service skills and cuts you off when speaking. Then we had the pleasure of speaking to another gentleman who was a little bit more helpful but again cuts you off and was hostile when speaking to. To work in the profession you would think people would have compassion and be naturally kind but the two we encountered lacked all of that. My pervious experiences at the cemetery have always been pleasant. The mausoleum is always clean and the grounds are well kept. It’s a shame that the person whose job it is to welcome guests into the office is so miserable."

"This use to be a great Catholic Cemetery years ago. Now in the past 5 years it has gone down hill The headstones that are flat because you can't put up a larger headstone aren't taken care of They get covered up with the grass & sink down. Now you pay $50.00 to have them raised at the cemeteries convenience in between burials. So much for taking card of the souls that are past."

"Father buried here. Always super helpful staff, both the day of his death and ever since. The grounds are always kept clean and well nourished. The sunset in the summer is always so beautiful. I would recommend to any family looking to put their loved one in a beautiful and well kept place. Thank you Mt. Olivet staff for all you do."

"Grounds are open from 7:30am until dusk daily as per their website. Beautiful cemetery to walk around!"
