"I ordered a few varieties of plants for my 30 gallon tank. Some rooted and a couple bulbs. Plants are doing well and one bulb sprouted and is taking off! The other sadly did not sprout after a week. I contacted customer support and they are refunding the cost for the dud bulb. All in all I'd say the plants came in great shape and quite quickly. Some melting had occurred in one plant but there is evidence of new growth so all is well!"

"I have had a great experience with Modern Aquarium. They have been super timely on answering any questions I've had, even prior to making a purchase. I ordered the 48 plant bundle and it arrived super fast. All the plants, except the Jungle Vals looked amazing and are showing new growth even after only being in the tank for 3 days. Modern Aquarium has provided advice on how to try and save the Jungle Vals and will provide a refund if they don't survive. I would definitely purchase from them again and would recommend anyone else to purchase from them."

"I posted this review on their site but of course they won't put a 3 start review in their own website. Merely wanted to communicate that their packages are not for the consumer but for modern aquarium to move extra inventory. I ordered 2 large plant packages. The plants were healthy and arrived on time and well packaged. None of that an issue. The plants were mostly wispy thin stem plants. Not so interesting at all. Ultimately I orfered leafy plants. All the usual suspects. Amazon swords , crypts, anubias and ferns. All look great and are prospering. Pointing out that leaving it Up to them is not the best idea. Do your research and select the correct plants for your situation"

"Imagine it’s 4.5 starts and not 4. My experience with modern aquarium was overall very good. The package I ordered was on of the plant packs which is a very good deal. However the shipment was delayed and arrived a day late despite 2-day shipping. Many of the plants arrived with dead or melted leaves and many of them died off in my tank. Some of them even arrived dead. After messaging modern aquarium and requesting the dead plant to be resent i received a response about a week and a half later. However instead of just resending the dead plants they reshipped the entire order! Not only was an able to replace the dead plants in my large tank I was also able to rescape my small tank with some of the extras. No complaints here, my tanks look amazing due to these guys!"

"I ordered a BUNCH of plants from Modern Aquarium with my first time using them and I was so satisfied! Although there were a couple minute issues (as to be expected shipping live plants and snails), they very quickly responded to my emails and refunded me the full amount for those products. The rest of the order was so great that I re-ordered the other ones because they are a great company. I will definitely recommend them to others and will be using them in the future."
