"I am the owner of Star Sheds. Google for some reason wont let me respond to the negative reviews left by a couple of people on here. So i would like to respond to some of the comments made about our company. The 1st one that claimed we stole there deposit is completely untrue. They had ordered a shed without checking with the town to see if it was allowed. When i asked if they had a permit and check they said yes . The order was then replaced with special order stuff (not returnable) After contacting them for an installation date. They kept putting it of later to find out they never did get a permit and when they finally went to were notified they couldn't pit the shed where they wanted it and wanted to cancel the contract and order. I told them they could have there deposit back minus the special order stuff. They said they would take me to small claims court . A date was set for court . Which happened to be when I was out of town in a wedding. The court said they would schedule another date. Which never happened so while i was out of town i missed the court date so they were awarded there full deposit back . Which they did receive there full deposit back so we did not steal anything and only missed court because of an error. We have been in business for 27 years and build 230-250 sheds a year with a A+ bbb rating. We can give many references of customers that have actually had a shed built by us. Unfortunately anyone can say anything on google As for Mrs Cook. She was never scheduled to be built in march because the home show was the 1st week of March and we were 5 weeks booked before the show started from orders in the fall. The next week everything was shut down from covid. She had 15 light door that in a normal time is a 4-6 week order . She would repeatedly call asking when here shed was going to be built and when i said we were shut down it wasn't what she want to hear. So after more calls i did get frustrated with her. I also started tapping our phone calls which i still have . When it was getting closer for her door to come in i stopped to look at the concrete pad that was poured for the shed and found the pad was wrong and gave her suggestions on what we could do to resolve the issues with the pad . I never changed the shed. Her shed was a very basic shed we build all the time .All she wanted to was complain about the concrete guy and even the company working on her kitchen so I was really not wanting to build her a shed. And after her last phone call to me i told her i was refunding her deposit . Again like I stated before I can give many many references of actual customers"

"Kevin built a shed for us August 2020. The quality is excellent and he matched our house siding, even though it wasn’t a siding he typically carried. This was a tough year for contractors, the shed was delayed, but so was my deck done with another builder (in fact that’s still not done). Kevin and his team worked around a stone pad that wasn’t quite ideal and still built the whole thing from the ground up in 1 day. He also built a shed for my neighbor and his in-laws and I know they were happy too."

"We had a large 16x28' shed built by Kevin and his crew at Star Construction. The quality of their work is top of the line. They were fast but they also took the time to make sure each piece fit exactly. Maintanance free there is no exposed wood. This is a much better shed than what their competitors make. And their price was very reasonable. Call them. You will be glad you did."
