"I bought a used ford from Vestal New York. While driving home to Massachusetts my truck started acting up. I called the nearest ford dealership and they were to busy to look at my truck. I then called Don and he told me to bring it in and he will take a look at it. He thoroughly looked over the truck and drove it to see how the truck felt. He came back then looked under it and pointed out everything that needed to be replaced on it. He was very honest and helpful. "We were driving back home to MA from Indianapolis in our converted 1998 Blue Bird All American school bus. We were headed along a particularly bad section of I-88 E when we experienced a blowout of the inside rear right tire. Fortunately, we were able to pull off safely right by the Worcester rest area and search for help. In the process of the tire exploding, it destroyed the muffler hanger and dropped it to the road surface and also gobbled up a mud flap. we are thankful for the man from Don's Diesel Service and Repair in Davenport who came out to meet us on the highway, with his entire family in tow, to get our Muffler hung up! We wouldn't have been able to live to Cobleskill without him. He recommended McCarthy's and suggested that we make our way there, slowly, to get the tire replaced the next morning. It's never fun when something goes wrong on the road, but he took what could have been an awful and very costly experience and made it surprisingly easy. Thanks again and we cannot recommend them enough!"
