"IF YOU BUY IT, THE TROLLEY WON'T COME Sadly we bought tickets and the trolley drove right on by. We ended up walking down to the BHoF. Preparing to head back to our vehicle we nevet saw a trolley along the roads, even though the map on the website indicated stop locations, so we walked back...only to have a trolley come trough upon our arrival to our car in the lot. Tickets purchased through automated machine that offered to add more, but would not permit more then 4. So we had to make to purchases for our party...with a surcharge for each purchase - there was no cash option; only credit, which also included the surcharge. Bottom line - $15 for 6 tickets with 2 surcharges and the trolley nevet stopped for us or picked us up. While I got an email apologizing from the town and one person from the trolley call to talk to no avail (I work and was in a meeting, but I returned the call...still waiting). Lesson learned: IF YOU BUY IT, THE TROLLEY WON'T COME"

"Of all the lots in Cooperstown, this is my favorite. It's a bit small (so get there early!), but it's coziness and closeness to downtown Cooperstown makes this lot the one to park in. You can take the trolley (an all-day pass is $2 per person, or $5 for a family as of this writing), which is a good deal in Cooperstown, let me tell you. Forget about parking on Main St. Park in a lot and take the trolley. If you want, it is a pleasant walk from the Red Lot to Main St. I'd say around a 15-20 minute walk. Might do you good after sitting in the car for all that time. It's downhill and you get to really experience the quaintness of Cooperstown. Only drawback: it's uphill on the way back. Easy solution: take the trolley back to the Red Lot. Questions? Concerns? Ask a trolley driver! They are all friendly, courteous, and helpful; they'll be glad to help you out and answer any questions. My goodness, you're on vacation! Enjoy yourself! Don't worry about parking! Take my advice: use the Red Lot. Park your car. Lock it up. Gather your things and the kids and get ready to enjoy a gem of a town: Cooperstown."
