"We've camped at Glimmerglass State Park many times over the last decade. The cheapest lodgings when you're visiting Cooperstown for the baseball Hall of Fame, or like us, the Glimmerglass Opera. Staff are always friendly, sites are tidy, campers are always pleasant. Good amenities for a state park. The beach is a nice place to hang out in the afternoon or at a picnic table under the trees. Decent food at the snack bar. Nice stargazing too!"

"Beautiful area with convenient location to Cooperstown. Campsite was large. The rain caused a lot of standing water, to be expected, I guess. The trails were nice, especially Sleeping Lion. The beach area was great and well maintained. Enjoy!"

"I love this little beach! The water is shallow and warm, you can go out pretty far. The sun setting on the water is stunning. They have a big parking lot, clean facilities, a good snack bar. Lots of picnic tables and a few different playgrounds. Perfect for a day out with your kids or by yourself even!"

"Lovely secluded campground with access to a small beach area at Lake Otsego. Well maintained campsites and most have power hook ups for campers (or for Christmas lights and phone charging!). Each camp site has a nice fire setup with a cooking grate. Clean bathrooms with showers. Excellent spot!!"

"A very nice state campground with good campsites and lots of activities to do. The bathrooms were well maintained. The beach area is excellent. They have a handicap accessible kayak launch which worked well to help get in and out of the kayak. Howe Cavern and the Baseball Hall of Fame are located nearby. We'll be coming back to this campground."
