"Free Public event featuring a singer, poetry readings, and a famous harpist. Snacks & water were available. The hiking trails were open & the nature gardens were beautiful with butterflies. Very serene setting."

"I love the native plant sale, the trails volunteers maintain to a gorgeous Sound beach, the twilight woodchuck tour and the great demonstration gardens. Exceptional environmental group."

"My friend Mary and I attended a Wildlife Rehabilitation training event at the North Fork Audubon Society presented by the Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Rescue Center. Because of what we learned, we were able to put in motion a team to save this precious Great Horned Owlet by re-nesting her close to her parents.
Thank you to the members of NFA & EAWRC."

"The annual dues to the North Fork Audubon Society is worth much more than just membership - the walks with binoculars, meetings both in-person and via zoom, the educational zoom presentations - all available at no charge with membership. Well worth it!"

"Thank you for educating the East End residents about the destruction of our woods and the loss of habitate of so much native animals, birds, and plants due to having ten times the number of deer that is sustainable to a healthy environment . , Our woods in the East End was labled "ECO SLUM" by an expert in 2013. It is only getting worse. and has created the tick disease epidemic that makes us fearful to walk in woods and back yaerds. Thanks for your work to save our animals and our woods by working to greatly reduce the deer overpopulation and the tick disease situation. 1500 people have Alpha Gal Meat Allercy on the East End due to ticks feeding on deer blood . Gov. Hochul has NO idea how bad it is and how difficult to combat the deer overpopulation problem and tick diseases. Y I will give you 5 stars if you indeed and working woth all on this deer/tick issue. We no longer walk on wood trails because all 4 of us had ticks on us afterwards"
