"This trail has been vastly improved . I give it four stars based off of that improvement because this trail use to be very overgrown . It is the perfect trail to get into mountain biking . The trail is flat but twisty . The diamonds do have some climbs but a novice mountain biker should be capable of handling the tech . FYI I rate riders as follows : beginners , novice , intermediate , advance , expert and pro. I consider myself an intermediate rider .Calverton is definitely a beginner to novice trail . Intermediate riders will enjoy it as well . More advance riders may be bored , especially those who prefer park , downhill or free rides no matter what their skill level is . Calverton is a XC trail , like most Long Island trails . So get out and enjoy"

"Pretty good beginner trail not too hard watch out for your mirrors if you have any some tight tree action. Today was a cloudy drizzly day but I didn't feel the rain under all the trees. I was the only one here at the time except for 1 deer that I felt like I was chasing With all the twist and turns in the trail I kept bumping into him That was kinda cool You know what I'm saying."
