Speedway

"Terrible service and gas station. They had a sale for an item stated "2 for $2" being my favorite candy I grabbed 4. Was a great deal. Cashier says "$8 and some change". I pointed to clearly marked advertisement stating said product for 2 for $2. Uhm well uhm I can't do price adjustments so idk what to tell you... I left obviously"

"Coffee is terrible. They had a few containers of coffee available the 1st one I chose smelled like it's been sitting out for hours. The other one which I wound up purchasing taste terrible and I'm already 10 miles down the road. Waste of money"

"Convenient location for gas, especially because I stayed at the Marriott hotel down the road. The only thing that I didn’t like about this experience is that all the pumps looked like they were diesel. Kinda made me feel like I was in for s disaster."

"I usually love speedway. I moved to New York got hired on immediately and I loved it thought highly of the manager unfortunately I had only worked their a week so yes not long and I had a complication at where I was and at my own home in North Carolina. I called the manager and relayed that I was going to have to go back to North Carolina but that I would try and be their that night mind you I was still in my training my period and I called out at seven three hours in advance that night. Got back to North Carolina phone was off not even realizing I left that night so who do I need to talk to went to sleep when I got home woke up turned my phone and he calls leaves me a message I called him again stating the situation apologizing because I felt I put him in a rut, I was trying to transfer to a store in Nc and he told me to have the people call him mind you I told him I would need to transfer that Thursday when I talked to him. The people called him and he lied; Stating I did a three day no call no show, I called him asking why he lied he says because I left him short handed and I'm like so If I ever try to go to New York I can't work for you he was like I can't answer that I was a good employee and I learned fast so yes I can see how I left him short but I have tried to call the district mananager left messages no answer, called hr and no answer no return phone call back! Even if they don't want to do anything they could have listened to me out pretended to care or whatever. But I came back to Nc can't get a job at speedway out here I have kids of my own I have to support was this man thinking about this when he decided to lie?? I can't stand for someone to lie and it made me madder that I have tried to contact these people about the situation or atleast let me get a job at speedway and I am unable to contact people. Sometimes management is always right. But that's ok karma will get people for their dirt but since they won't listen I hope this helps people.... it's not a bad place but work wise they need to do better!!"
