"Attempted to visit in early May 2024 (off-season). The access to the town resident access was barred, no parking signs on the local street. Not sure how anyone is supposed to access it. Unless that's the point, that only locals w/in walking distance can access it? Seems wrong since it is Brookhaven town owned and all Brookhaven town residents should have access. Follow-up: Brookhaven Town said, "This is a beach access right of way. The private beach association owns up to the high tide water line. If you have a night time fishing parking permit you are able to park down there to fish on the water line." So if attempting to walk along a beach, this is not an option. Thought I'd save others the effort."

"It's the North Shore, so there's nothing different than any other rocky shore, except for local residents having acces to the only spot for parking. There's no parking for the Brookhaven residents who are the only ones allowed in this tiny designated area who have to have ID to show the lone security guard at the path entrance. So strange and odd and the whole layout doesnt make any sense. Also, on the so called beach, there's a well placed line of huge boulders blocking people from walking over to the so called private area. Here's the confusing part, the town beach runs along all the homeowners access to the beach. The private side where only the local residents are allowed is where the County Park sits but no access except from the private area. The homeowners dont like their access beach so they chose to make the County Park beach access their private Tides Beach."

"It’s a Rocky Point private beach it’s a beautiful beach with nice views but it needs a better entrance at the rampfor people especially retired senior citizens carrying beach paraphernalia it also needs more small trash cans near the entrance and the steps to Beach Beach the members pay very high yearly price and it should be taking care of a little better we had a lot of Beach Closing‘s because of bacteria this summer hopefully Beach association will help the Haggerman Landing Beach !!"

"It was amazing sunset view. They have parking and two different beaches and ocean view. I saw people doing Campfire as well. Good place to relax and spend the evening watching sunset."

"Such a lovely beach! You can see both the sunset and sunrise from this beach. Quiet, private, clean!!! I'm not a fisherman but everyone there seemed to be pretty successful at it. I can't wait to enjoy it during the summer. The photo opportunities are endless."
