"I am a tourist trying to take day trip to NYC. I decided to drive up here to park for the day which is free, then take a small walk to take the subway, which takes me all the way down to the central area in about an hour. However if you come back to get your car late in the evening this small path between here and the subway will be dark and no one around."

"From Westchester County & Points North: Take 87 South to VanCortlandt Park South Exit. At top of the exit, make a left. At next light, make another left and follow the signs to golf course, bear to your left and go underneath the overpass. This road will lead you to the parking lot of golf course."
