"I used to go to this salon a lot when I was younger, I am not lying when I say they left my hair looking amazing. Recently I went after 2 years of not going I asked for 6 fingers off instead I got 8 inches off…. Not even close… 6 fingers equals to about 3.5 inches not even close to 8!!!! I also asked for a v-shape and ended up getting more of a flat u-shape. Only a haircut, no wash, and no blowout cost me $75 excluding tip"

"I never write reviews, let alone a negative one but I just wanted as a business for you guys to be aware of my experience. I booked a 9 am res and was sat with Sophie. Totally lovely woman with a great personality. I just left the salon almost in tears because she hacked and chopped the whole front part of my hair off. I made it very clear to her that I needed to be able to put my hair up or back in a low bun, which is what I usually prefer, for work in the service industry. It is imperative that we have our hair not only back, but neat and tidy looking. I can’t even pull it back without a bunch of pieces falling out and using tons of gel and Bobby pins. When it’s up, a high messy bun is my signature look and there’s not even enough hair barely to put it in a pony tail. I am very discouraged because I respected when she said that I needed some inches cut off to get rid of dead hair, but I never asked for my whole front of my head to be totally chopped in different lengths etc. it will now take months and months to grow out and until then, I feel very uncomfortable with how I look. I went to get a haircut to wear my hair down more because it’s always up with work and was very dry and damaged at the ends. Now not only will my hair not be down for months, but I don’t even feel comfortable putting it back. I went to the salon to feel better, and left with this mega volumous prom hair style that is not true to my look or who I am. I will not be coming back to lemon tree because of this experience."

"Asked for layers going down and to shape the bangs; I showed her a picture from four different angles. I got the opposite: Feathered layers and incredibly short bangs. I showed her the picture that I bought and asked her if she saw the same haircut on me. She replied, "Oh! That style just won't work for you, so I gave you what I wanted". The girl lobed off about five inches all around. I said to part it on the left side going to the right. She parted it in the middle. I reminded her and the apron literally flew off of me. She said sorry that she can't help me anymore because she has a line of customers waiting and I'll have to come back! I asked for one quarter. I can't even go to another salon to have it fixed because it's too darn short! I look awful! I cried so much! I do not recommend!!!"
