Suburban Propane

"Suburban price gouges on propane .shows up anytime they want to. I bought propane tanks for my all house generator from them 17 years ago. They claim I didn't however their name is not on these tanks. Go with some other company because for 15 gallons last year they charged me $300.00."

"Very expansive.Today price for 100 gallons $355.71. Gauge is defective and does not read correctly since January. The company wants to replace entire tank and provide one without gauge. Gives run around at all times."

"New homeowner in the area. Picked Suburban because they are a national chain. We have oil and propane. They overcharge. Used the app to get oil on December 27th. They filled me almost two weeks later. The average oil price in the area was $2.70. They charged me $3.27 and when I called to inquire about the high cost I got the run around. Tried telling me it was for an expedited fuel delivery. Really? Two weeks is expedited. The company is unprofessional."

"I wish I could rate them lower. Suburban propane is one of the higher rates in the area. They will lure you in with an introductory rate and after their tanks are in place they will raise their price. At the beginning of the season they were 50 cents a gallon more than most and dead smack in the winter they almost doubled their price. I called to complain and they lowered it, but it was still 1.24 a gallon higher than other conpanies I contacted in the area that day. If you don't believe me ask them why they don't list their price. I have a feeling no single person is paying the same rate. I believe their technique is to raise it until you get fed up and it's worth the hassle to leave them. Success, I'm leaving as soon as I can get some one else's tanks installed."
