"I decided to try this place after a recommendation on Facebook. What a mistake that was. I showed her pics of exactly what I wanted and pics of what I already had as my haircut. All I needed was a trim and reshaping. She said she understood the cut, knew how to do it and cut short hair all the time. Then she proceeded to destroy my haircut and left me with the absolute WORST HAIRCUT OF MY ENTIRE LIFE. She cut all the length from the top, which was specifically supposed to be longer on purpose and left me with a severely short, blunt haircut that nothing can be done with. It’s a helmet of hair with no style, no texture. My curls don’t sit right, I can’t tuck anything behind my ears or push it forward cause she cut it so horribly. I went home and cried the entire day. She shattered my self confidence and destroyed my adorable hairdo. It’s so short that nothing will fix it, except shaving my head completely. I am devastated. Now all I can do is wear hats and scarves to hide this terrible haircut for the nexts 4-6months (so all of spring and summer)and wait for it to grow out. Sure she apologized, but that does nothing to fix the fact that I have to walk around looking like this until it grows out. Why couldn’t she just be honest and say she didn’t know how to cut short hair? I STRONGLY DO NOT recommend this place, particularly not for short hair"

"Andrea has been the only person to touch my hair in 15 years. I have followed her through her career until she bought Platinum Salon and Spa, and this is where I’ll stay. I have very thick and heavy hair, and Andrea is a wizard when it comes to coloring, cutting and styling it. I also am guilty of neglecting my hair, going 6 -9 months between coloring appointments, and Andrea is able to make it look like I spoil my hair on a daily basis. The other women who work there are insanely talented and create a really friendly environment. Platinum Salon and Spa feels like your family home base within the first few minutes of your visit. I will never go anywhere else."
