Soaring Eagle Waterpark and Hotel

"We saw a lot of kids having fun and parties at the park. My husband and I went there to have a nice dinner at their restaurant. The casino shuttle serves casino goers there too. We relaxed there and watched the happy children, as if they were at Disney or something."

"I have been to many water parks before, this one was not good unfortunately. My main concern was no lifeguards in the kiddie slide area. NOT ONE. There was a kid climbing up the slide for literally 10 minutes and not one thing was done. Kids were cutting in line and shoving other kids as well. Splash Village has a lifeguard on duty for their kiddie area. Soaring Eagle should have a lifeguard on duty for their kiddie area, but they don’t. There is also a slide off to the side in the shape of a canoe and it was very unsafe. My daughter flew off the mat as it was not long enough. She went right into the pavement and hurt herself. A few other parents were also very concerned on this canoe slide. Just take it out if you can’t make it safe. My husband also had an extremely rude lifeguard woman in the surf area. They also closed down the waterpark WAY too early. We are talking 30 minutes early. At Splash village, they don’t start getting you to leave until 10 minutes before they actually close. My kids said they don’t want to go to the Soaring Eagle Waterpark again. We prefer Splash Village or Great Wolf Lodge for an extra $50. Way safer at Splash Village and Great Wolf, they have above and beyond the amount of lifeguards needed. As a former lifeguard, I was disgusted at how safety was not the number one concern. My advise to the hotel, take care of your safety issues immediately. I gave a star because you do have very polite guest service employees at least."

"Not too happy with our stay. The sauna, and the Jacuzzi does not work properly and when you mention it to the staff, they just say that’s how it is. No steam whatsoever the temperature was 81° every time I tried to use the steam sauna. Waterpark closes at 8:40sharp p.m.!!!! (says 9 o’clock, but at 8:40they asked us to leave the park. Our last night, the toilet started to overflow and run and flooded our bathroom, it looks like that is a reoccurring issue as you can see in the picture moisture/ water has started to rot the metal door frame. The last thing is the morning we were leaving, room service was beating on our door at 8:15 AM This place needs a lot of work."

"Took our daughter here for her 9th birthday, our first time here at the Waterpark, and first, I like to start with front desk registration friendly and informing booked a nice King Suite for our family and added a discount, allowed us to do check out later ( which was free) , second I liked the room it was clean but I did not care for the shower pressure, they did answer phones within time fame, the restaurant we chose to eat in our room but the food was delicious and they got our order right, it was easy to leave and come back to our room the stay was very comfortable for us, the Waterpark was small but for family friendly we did not have to worry about large crowds every thing was easy and quick to ride on , the pools do need to be cleaned better as far as just build up from water, we loved the Indian theme the spirit was differently in this place. Overall, I will come back. Yes, this 2 hour drive from home made us feel like an 8 hour getaway. Yes, they did a good thing by adding the Waterpark."

"Celebrated mom's 81st birthday at the Waterpark and had a blast. We went early at opening & stayed til close. Wasn't overcrowded, was just right. Our group tried out every area, but the slide was the best. The lazy river was perfect for us older people. Great way to spend a Friday. Locker rooms were nice and clean."
