"I went in for a wash and braid down. I unbraided and detangled my hair before I came in (I always do this) and pre poo’d The stylist washed my hair and I could barely feel her hands. It felt like she was afraid to get to my scalp. Somehow my hair was more tangled than before I left my house. Then used a blow dryer with comb attachment on my 4c hair, which I don’t prefer but it’s been done before. Then she had difficulty braiding it down in cornrows because did the volume of my hair and needed help. This took 3 HOURS and I was her only client. I’ve never spent that much time in a salon for this service (1.5 hours max) and I do this every 3 months or so but my normal hair salon was booked up so I tried this place as it’s closer to me. I would try this place again because at some point another stylist finished blow drying my hair and seemed more competent but I would avoid the stylist that handled me. I don’t think this is her thing. It hurt me to pay for all of that after this service but of course I paid and tipped the customary amount."
"Rose gave me a detox/retwist/style on my locs and I have a sensitive scalp but she’s always gentle on my hair and makes me look beautiful. And I love the natural products that she has as well."
"WOW! I was comfortable starting from the wash from Layla (not sure if it is the correct spelling sorry if it isn't). Her hands felt like they were floating in my hair! It was the best scalp massage/hair washing routine I've ever received in my life! I was so relaxed! Then my hair stylist Rose, did an amazing job with my retwist and was very gentle! This was the best salon experience in my life! I will absolutely be back here! Thank you so much for an amazing service!"
"I’ve had locs for 15+ years now and Ms. Rose is the most professional, knowledgeable, caring, and attentive stylist I have encountered. I’ve been a customer now for 2 years and every visit has been great. The salon is so sultry, soothing, relaxing, and the décor is amazing. The other ladies are also kind and welcoming. Overall, great atmosphere, great service, and great people!"
"Words cannot express how much I love Rose and the ladies!! When you walk into the salon you feel welcomed and at peace. Great conversation and service. No need to come washed and blow dried!
