"A wonderful area to access and enjoy Zoar Valley. Nicely maintained. The road down to it is steep and curvy, so slow down! We had a wonderful afternoon"

"This is a great place to hike with beautiful scenery. Caution is needed for hiking during the spring and fall. Many of the trails can become slippery with rain and leaf litter. If you’re looking to get away from people you may want to try a different park. Even on a cold day there are a lot of people here and limited parking."

"Soar valley, one of my favourite summer destinations for about 25 years now. Great hiking trails and swimming in certain areas. Be careful though the George walls are high a strait down in much of the George.also also the water can be treacherous at times especially during spring and fall. With that said spring and fall can bring some of the best kayaking conditions."

"Open sunrise to sunset year round. The road that leads to the parking area is SEASONAL LIMITED USE HIGHWAY (pretty much means don't use in the winter). Stay on the state owned land, if you don't and are found by a forest ranger, you will be ticketed. Zoar Valley is also loaded with Geocaches."
