"I loved my hygienist and dentist here—they were gentle and kind—so hate to find another office, but have to agree with other reviews that it’s difficult to get in touch with this office to the extent that I am leaving. The dentist molded a retainer for me and told me to pick it up the following Monday. He must have forgotten that was Memorial Day, and when I drove (an hour one-way) to the office to pick up the retainer, it was closed. That was more than 6 weeks ago, and despite more than a dozen phone calls into the office, I haven't been able to connect with him. The office has a very frustrating phone system that makes it impossible to speak with a person when calling (you have to leave a message) and receptionists felt like gatekeepers—I’m not convinced my messages ever got through to the dentist. It’s particularly disappointing because the retainers were in preparation for my wedding September 7—now it’s too late. :("
"We kept giving chances because everyone has off days. We did it, now you don't have to. My cleaning was one of the most painful experiences I've had. My daughter had three filings, one they started, then said she needed a root canal, then on a temporary cap. She was in a great amount of pain afterward. They did a filing the next time, it fell out the next day, they refilled it a week later, it fell out the same day. She was in so much pain, she was in tears. When i caked them that afternoon, their solution was to pull the tooth. This is not a molar, it's just behind the canine. Read this again, they wanted to PULL HER TOOTH because a filing they put in fell out TWICE! I had at back to back apptworh my daughter (same dr) one day and they forgot about me. I sat and watched them call 5 people in after my daughter, then told me that sometimes appointments run over... I was there for almost two hours waiting after my daughter finished. I truly wish I had something good to say, but we are not taking any more chances, it's worth driving over an hour to the next dentist accepting our insurance. It's been multiple appointments over the past two months. It wasn't just a bad day."
"Very pleased with this dental office. I did have to wait about three months to be seen as a new patient but it was well worth the wait! The hygienist is the sweetest women ever and did an amazing job with X-rays and cleaning considering I have very sensitive teeth. I was able to get three fillings done that same day. The numbing shots were completely painless and the dentist played music while she worked. I have bad anxiety when it comes to getting dental work done and she did amazing keeping me calm. Out of all the dentists I’ve seen in my thirty years this was by far my best experience! My teeth don’t even look like I had fillings! So sad to see the negative reviews and I’m hoping to continue having such a great experience at this dental office! A million times thank you AMD!!"
"They are not handicapped accessible which I don't agree with and is problematic if you have any adaptive equipment and or are in a wheelchair. I have a walker and it barely fits through without hitting walls, there's no ramp outside only stairs and no good place to put the Walker when I'm getting seen. But unfortunately it's one of the few dentists in the area that accepts low income dental insurance and we know you have to take what you can get. That said I do have a good dentist there with Dr Chang and the staff are awesome as well"
"This place isn't the typical dentist office. They do not use anesthesia on patients when extracting teeth and such. Very barbaric in my opinion. Also they like to ask your kids personal questions (my son is 5) while I was getting a x ray and they thought I wasn't going to talk but I did. Not a very professional environment. But they did a amazing job at cleaning my teeth. That's the one good thing. But the environment is totally unpleasant."
