"The carousel is always enjoyable, a pass time for our area for decades yes. We always ride the carousel while we're at Highland to play at the park or to swim and our visit today was primarily to swim and the best part about the Highland Park Pool is that they put a liner in it so that it's not just concrete and scraping your feet and knees nice and smooth and kind to your feet and knees and hands whatever body part you scrape on it. You have to pay to swim but it's fair prices as long as you're a resident it's free for little ones four primary age kids and up to 17 I believe it's a dollar and then adults are $2 and seniors also have a discount and much more. Check out the Town of Union website under Parks if you need further information."

"Very nice place had photos done here from the very talented brittni stasiuk. Beautiful scenery and many great memories have always been made here at this park. They have a wonderful playground nice pool tennis and babseball... Pavilion picnic tables barbq pits covered tables playground for smaller kids always very clean. Plenty of parking. Haunted hayrides for halloween. Activities for the fourth of july all day. Go out and enjoy a great park. Carosels are free"

"A great park with playground areas for the kids. Pavilions with grills for cooking. A beautiful, decent size swimming pool with children's wading pool as well. Baseball field and tennis courts. They also have restrooms and a consession stand. And one of my favorite carousels in Broome County. This is where the big July 4th festivities and fireworks take place too. A great park for the whole family. I always liked going there as a child and now my kids do too."
