"Outside still had a lot of work to be done. Honestly we almost canceled before going in. Fortunately the room has recently been renovated. Bed was comfortable room was clean."

"Pretty convenient location for us. We got in pretty late from a long day of driving so we checked in and were directed how to get to our room. The stairway was a mess but I realized they were remodeling as soon as I opened the door to the 2nd floor hall. It smelled new with fresh paint and the doors had paper tags for room numbers to make them as placeholder numbers. Our room was clean and had some great features. A full length mirror that lit up, the bathroom lights alternated between bright and a night light type mode. And the bathroom mirror also lit up and had a defog/antifog feature. The bed was so-so and pillows were typical hotel fluff. Shower pressure was good with hot water. The only thing that I may add that might be a detractor was the bathtub. While showering it felt very thin and not as stable as most places. Kinda felt like if you moved wrong or weighed too much it would break. Over all with was a good experience."

"We had a newly remodeled room. The hallways and lobby are torn up. Housekeeping did a good job when we needed towels and trash removed. Stayed 8 days due to job. Walking distance to a great brewery and diner through the tunnel."

"In very early April, 2024, I made a two night reservation for July 5-7, 2024. A week before my stay, I got a call from someone at the hotel saying they had to cancel my reservation because there was a wedding block that had filled up. A couple of things to note here: if those rooms were blocked for a wedding, why were they available for me to reserve? Secondly, how in the world was my reservation, made four months ahead of time, the last reservation made? Seems to me anyone whose room(s) were reserved AFTER mine should have been canceled before mine. Sadly, I had no choice but to try to seek last minute accommodations elsewhere. The least expensive option I found was an AirBnB that ultimately cost me three times the price of the hotel room I'd reserved (thanks to it being a last-minute reservation on a holiday weekend.)"

"Fantastic place! SUPER clean and modern rooms (they are renovating, so all the rooms will be catch up very very soon). Excellent location. Right in the center of a very nice and walkable city. A few minutes walk through a cool tunnel that goes under the train tracks to Moss Island, a natural wonder full of glacial runoff carved rocks and great rock climbing in the park. And it's right off the NY rail trail. It is a PERFECT stopping point from there. I can't recommend it enough. And the staff are extremely nice and helpful. I have stayed here a few times and with the renovations it is even better! And the hotel is attached to a movie theater!"
