"I have been meaning to buy bread from here for years, and I’m glad I finally did! The baker is very nice and he will teach you about the bread, too. FYI, they sell out fast but if you get there early, or buy online he will reserve it for you. I had a great time talking about my mother’s hometown and lots of other great towns in Germany. I can’t wait to buy more :)"

"Absolutely love the tomato pastry - it's my go to anytime I walk by and it's not a Monday. It's a flaky pastry pocket with tomato sauce and olive flavor. In the past there had been a more Parmesan heavy version which I miss. But this savory one still hits the spot. Also used to be some indoor seating but I get that the pandemic has changed things. Now it's stand outside the building which is still very charming. There's all sorts of other sweet treats, also a fan of the chocolate pastries. Absolutely worth a visit."

"This place has been open only with a cart in front of the actual bakery for at least past couple years I think. Not sure why they don’t accomodate customers into their bakery. Because it’s been only with a cart, I haven’t been curious enough to try out but grabbed couple of those pastries recently. Pastry parts overall felt crunchy, thin, and little bit dry. Pastry itself was neither yay nor nay for me. I just imagined that’s how german style pastry is. I liked the flavor of savory tomato one but not so much for raspberry sweet cheese one. Latter had very subtle flavor of anything, so it wasn’t exactly spot on to my palate."
