"Stumbled across this gem a few weeks ago. As soon as you step inside, you are no longer in the Bronx. This quaint and jazzy spot has a French flair with impeccable service. The bread with cheese and honey…wow! I had to order 2. They also have a wine flight. Let’s just say this spot will be seeing me monthly. Side note for those who don’t drink alcohol, they do have cocktail options as well."
"I mean it from the heart when I say that this place really is unique. This is worth a visit just to see the fascinating wood paneling, which was acquired from a Rockefeller estate! The wine is carefully chosen by experts, and the food is truly french. Do not hesitate to choose the 'wine flight' which changes weekly, and gives you a chance to sample three wines that the owners are really excited about. Live music is frequent, fun but not too loud. Do not pass this place by!"
"Cote Wine Bar fills a niche - perfectly. My wife and I have gone there a few times. When we want something to eat, and some good wine served by knowledgeable pros, Cote is first on our list. Without pretension, the staff is able to balance serving us wine and refreshments we like, while recommending things they would like us to try. Oftentimes they are right. They are genuinely excited when I try something new. The atmosphere is mellow and relaxing. I don't always want a bar and the noise and large TV's that accompany it. There are no screens at Cote - only people surrounded by thoughtful calm lighting, dark wood walls and a bar - and robust conversation by adults. They wanted to create a place with a French Wine Bar vibe, and they have succeeded."
"So excited to have this gem in the neighborhood. I've visited several times already and it's always a great time. From the beautiful vintage wood bar, the friendly staff, amazing cocktails/wine, and the delicious snacks, everything was perfect! Highly recommend!!!"
"Wonderful addition to the neighborhood! We met up with friends and enjoyed several of the bites (all great portions and went well with the drinks), cocktails, mocktails and of course the wines. Small, but varied selection and super knowledgeable folks in front of house. Looking forward to coming back!"
