"My family had a disappointing experience with Apex Medical Transport for a personal booking paid for out of pocket and shared our concerns with the company in real-time and left a corresponding google review. However, because of this less than stellar personal experience, Apex is now refusing Medicaid funded medical transportation for my family member in a skilled nursing facility. Having a disabled and medically fragile family member is a stressor in itself. It is expensive and sometimes cost prohibitive to make accommodations. However, they deserve to have nice days out, not just for medical appointments and procedures. A special occasion that YOU may take for granted as an able-bodied person is a big deal to a disabled person and their family. And they spend a lot of money to be able to do so. I would caution any medical facility in their business dealings with a company such as Apex due to their disgusting customer service policies and personal vendettas against customers."

"As one of the few medical transport services in the area, it’s a shame that APEX is ran by someone who is petty and childish. My father is in a nursing home and rarely leaves due to an extremely debilitating condition. On a rare occasion, my mother decided to try to take him out to an anniversary dinner. Long story short - Apex’s ineptitude, poor communication and poor time management ruined the day and my mother left an appropriate review. But this review is not concerning that day. 2 months later - my father’s nursing home tried to set up a transport for a medical procedure unbeknownst to my mother - and APEX refused because of the review my mother left. This is embarrassing customer service. Apex is supposed to serving a vulnerable population - but is overpriced, childish and predatory. Thankfully the nursing home was able to find alternate transport. But no thanks to Apex for their immature behavior. Do better Apex."

"I’ve tried many medical cabs since moving to Utica and Apex is the best. Anthony the dispatcher is professional and kind. They get the job done and get you where you need to go. They communicate via text so requesting to be picked up after your appointment is easy as 123. Also there vehicles are very clean and have a lot of room."

"Very difficult to deal with. Tell you they will call you back and take hours to do so. Was quoted one price and the bill was significantly higher. Had to wait over an hour and a half to be picked up and the return back was an hour. My disabled husband was exhausted. I was frazzled and worried they weren’t going to arrive at all. No calls saying they were delayed. Very disorganized organization. The drivers were polite and courteous. However I will not use them for private transportation again. I see your reply and none of the information about dialysis patients was mentioned to me or DOH regulations. I scheduled the date on 4/22 and when I called to confirm the date it wasn’t in your system. I called several times that Thursday and was told you would call me back in a few minutes. On 4/22 I was told the trip would be a total of $220. On 5/16 Tony told me that was incorrect it would be a little more because Oneida was $300 and he would call me back. He never did. I didn’t hear back from til 5/21 wanting my card info. It was our 49th Wedding Anniversary and I was trying to give my disabled long term care husband a few hours away from the Nursing Home. It was filled with stress and anxiety."

"I don't like how if you don't respond to the automated texts or call your ride will not show up? I need you to transport me, not play mom with my appointments too. Maybe if your drivers hade more experience, they wouldn't be so lost when it comes to locating customers for pickups and they wouldn't have such a problem finding the person for a pickup."
